Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Client

  • Notice Requirement: To cancel any ongoing service or project, the Client must provide written notice to the Company at least [insert notice period, e.g., 30 days] prior to the desired cancellation date.
  • Cancellation Fees: If the Client cancels the service before the completion of the agreed-upon term, a cancellation fee may apply. The fee will be calculated based on the stage of the project or the services rendered up to the cancellation date.
  • Refunds: Any payments made prior to the cancellation date are non-refundable. In the case of pre-paid services, the Client may be eligible for a prorated refund for services not yet rendered, minus any cancellation fees.
  • Ongoing Obligations: The Client will be responsible for any outstanding invoices for services rendered up to the cancellation date. The Company reserves the right to continue charging for services rendered until the cancellation notice period has been fulfilled.

Cancellation by the Company

  • Notice Requirement: The Company reserves the right to cancel services at any time, with [insert notice period, e.g., 15 days] written notice to the Client, unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.
  • Immediate Termination: The Company may terminate services immediately without prior notice if the Client violates the terms and conditions or engages in activities that are harmful or unethical, as determined by the Company.
  • Refunds: In the event that the Company cancels services without cause, the Client may be entitled to a refund for any pre-paid, unused services. No refund will be provided if the cancellation is due to the Client’s breach of terms or unethical behavior.

Project-Based Services

  • Deposit: For project-based services, a non-refundable deposit may be required to initiate the project. If the Client cancels the project after work has commenced, the deposit will be forfeited, and the Client may be billed for any additional work completed up to the cancellation date.
  • Work Product: Upon cancellation, the Company will provide the Client with any work completed up to the cancellation date, subject to full payment of all outstanding invoices.

Recurring Services

  • Automatic Renewal: Some services may automatically renew at the end of each term. The Client may cancel the renewal by providing written notice at least [insert notice period, e.g., 30 days] prior to the renewal date.
  • No Refunds for Early Termination: If the Client cancels a recurring service before the end of the current billing cycle, no refund will be provided for the remaining period.

Force Majeure

  • No Liability: The Company shall not be liable for any delays or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, or labor disputes. In such cases, either party may cancel the affected services without penalty.

Dispute Resolution

  • Negotiation: In the event of a dispute related to a cancellation, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through good faith negotiations.
  • Arbitration: If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it may be submitted to arbitration in accordance with the laws of [insert jurisdiction].

Modifications to the Cancellation Policy

The Company reserves the right to update or modify this cancellation policy at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of services after such notification will constitute acceptance of the revised policy.
